Kensley sheds video and update!

Arbor Training and The Rewild Project at Kenskey Sheds , from Rewild Project on Vimeo.

Kensley Sheds are almost finished for phase 1.  We have been working closely with Arbour Training  (www.arbourtraining.org).  We have been project managing this eco refurb with funding from the Heritage Lottery Funding (HLF) through the Foresters Forest programme.  The funding for materials came from the HLF and the wages to pay the main professional builders came from Awards for All national lottery.
Our Eco builders Paddy and crew were amazing throughout.  We only used locally sawned Western Red Cedar for the cladding waney edge effect and used recycled polyester for insulation, all the windows were reclaimed, we also put on a new roof and we the Reiwild Porject donated a good wood burner for the workshop area.  Our volunteers and New Leafs through Arbour Training also put in many days of work for free, thank you!.
We are carrying on our work with Arbour and are helping them organise a series of green woodwork courses (watch this space) to be run at Kensly Sheds to help fund the ongoing running of the Arbour Training Community Interest Company who like us are a non for profit social enterprise, so we need your support.
