Our workshops aren’t just “sessions” or “activities.”
They’re meeting points
— places where people gather around fire, tools,
stories, good food and shared purpose.
Everyone arrives from different corners of life: parents, teens, elders,
festival wanderers, tradespeople, birth workers, artists,
people who’ve lost their way a bit and people who are fiercely rooted.
All of them step into the same circle.
We work with our hands.
We build on the land.
We share food — real food — cooked slowly,
often with wild or home-grown ingredients.
We laugh, graft, rest, and get a bit muddy.
And somewhere in the middle of all that, something shifts.
We welcome volunteers because community isn’t built by money alone.
We weave in the bigger dream
— a future where our children inherit skills,
resilience, creativity and a sense of connection that modern life strips away.
This winter and spring 2025-26, our focus turns to the roundhouse:
a living symbol of community, fire and shelter.
These workshop days combine practical craft
— woodworking, earth-building, natural materials
— with the slower work of tending land-based relationships.
Every workshop we run comes from the heart.
Part skill-share, part soul-food, part quiet rebellion against the plastic, rushed world outside the trees.
You're welcome at the fire.
Come join us.
All the food we provide on our workshops & courses comes from the local forest,
growers and producers.
‘When I came along I thought it was just the natural dyeing, but I learned so much more too and have made some friends for life. Everyone has been amazing and the food was absolutely first class. Just brilliant, worth double the price’
