Job Title: Community Engagement Co-ordinator
Job Purpose: You will recruit a team of peer supporters from our current regular session participants. You will encourage, motivate, enable and empower team members to reach out to their friends and local community to improve participation across our funded sessions to create a self-supporting vibrant community.
You will work with the team to come up with creative ways to encourage participation.
You will work with the marketing team and create links in the community with the Project.
You will be the Project Safeguarding Lead and develop Safeguarding processes.
Hours & Pay: 5 hours per week. Some of which will need to be during the week alongside Rewild Project sessions but this can be flexible over the month so that some weeks more hours, and some weeks less. £20 per hour Self Employed, you will be responsible for your own tax and insurance.
Working Conditions: Mobile – You will be required to have your own transport with full clean driving licence, held for 5 years or more.
Work may take place at your home, or at one of our regular sites.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Complete induction training.
2. Attending circle meetings.
3. Using Whatsapp, Googledrive, Google calendar, and setting up @Rewildproject.com email address for communications with team and participants.
4. Using social media accounts for marketing.
5. Complete DBS
6. Hold or complete safeguarding children and adults level 3.
7. Develop safeguarding processes in line with latest guidance.
8. Recruit current project volunteers to be part of the team and provide training and guidance to empower them to become peer supporters for other participants and local people who would benefit from attending.
9. Hold regular meetings with volunteers, finding ways to help them feel valued and an important part of The Rewild Projects aims and vision.
10. Feeding back progress to the logistics circle and working with other parts of The Rewild Project to promote the aims and ethos.
Required Qualifications
· Safeguarding Adults level 3 – This takes 1-2 days and will be paid for by the project.
· Safeguarding children level 3 – This takes 1-2 days and will be paid for by the project.
· Good standard of English
· Good IT Skills
· Full driving licence and own transport.
