Village veg

One of The Rewild Projects new community growing projects is with Village Veg in Bream.

This is our second new grower!!

We are working with West Dean parish council, Forest Food Hub , Blakeney Hill Growers and a few others.

The Village Veg committee are amazing and we designed a questionnaire and knocked on doors to find out who wanted to grow veg and needed help?.

We supply them with the veg bed and the rest of the committee supply plants and support..

So we have been busy consulting , designing and building food systems .

We used well rotted cow manure on the bottom , double dig style then 5 year old rotted cow manure turned soil for three quarters of it.

We got no funding for this but did it voluntary anyway.
