Home of our famous ‘wiildings holiday club’ your children can play in the sand, mud kitchen, and get stuck in helping and learning how to propagate, plant out, build, dig and more.

The vibe here is super chilled as we like to lead and teach by example - so that your child see’s adults engaging in meaningful work - experiencing life outdoors, around the year.

  • Registration is for half a term, each session is 2.5 hours long and includes hot breakfast and hot drinks.

  • Wednesday mornings.

  • Free Taster Session.

  • Block booking discount or individual session price.

  • Follows Gloucester School Holidays Calendar

You can arrive onsite from 9am for porridge and can choose to leave your little ones from 9.30 - 11.25 or stay and help out around the allotment.

Parent & Child Nature Connection Sessions

  • Google Calendar ICS

The Rewild Project are starting new Friday Parent and child nature connection group.

These Outdoor Rewild nature connection sessions will loosely follow our holistic Craft and Land Skills curriculum.

Sessions will allow children to develop themselves through healthy play and tutor-led engagement with risk, problem-solving and self-discovery, all within a natural environment in a hands-on and dynamic manner.

We aim to led regular sessions over at least a year, to help both parents and children to reconnect to the natural rhythm exploring the different seasons.

Tutors supply playful, meaningful activities which nurture the instinctive human ability to learn through overcoming a risk, challenge or problem.

You and your children may also be taught how to safely use tools like knives and axes for whittling or chopping wood, and how to light and safely be around campfires.  We offer risky play, which enables children to learn to risk assess for themselves, building trust in themselves and their ability to self manage. it also includes social and emotional risk;  through embracing something new and different,  crafts and land skills, or confronting the fear of looking silly, games and challenges.

Sessions will include

  • Permaculture

  • Foraging & outdoor cooking

  • Landscape planning

  • Seasons

  • Weather

  • Counting & measuring

  • Willow crafts

  • Jewelry crafts

  • Clay

  • Nature walks

  • Tree identifying throughout the seasons

  • Whittling

  • Maths, Science, Design Technology and many others (all as part of life & living)

  • We aim to promotes self-esteem, creativity, confidence and independence.

It is a series of long-term sessions that build on the needs and development of the child. ...

It enables supported risk-taking, child-centred learning, exploration and play.

We also seek to offer support and a social experience for parents/carers Spending time outdoors with friendly faces around a campfire is an opportunity for you to unwind, connect with others and watch your child happily at play.

Registration is for 7 Sessions, each session is 2 hours long starting:
